Valentine’s Day Chocolate M&M Pretzel Bites

As someone who loves to host gatherings, I know the struggle of having to make something quick yet tasty for guests who are arriving shortly. If you are short on time and also have a tight budget, these sweet and salty chocolate pretzel treats are both fun and easy to make for any occasion. All that is necessary are 3 ingredients, and you can serve these to friends or pack them as treats to give for Valentine’s Day! If you switch out the color of the M&M’s, these treats can be made for any special holiday or event throughout the year.

Ingredients:

1 package small pretzel twists

1 package of Hershey’s kisses

1 package of M&M’s (red and pink for Valentine’s Day)

Recipe:

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees F

  2. Arrange pretzels on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

  3. Place a Hershey Kiss on each pretzel twist.

  4. Once the oven has preheated, place the tray of pretzel twists in the oven. Warm the pretzels until the Hershey kiss appears slightly softened. This will take approximately 2-3 minutes. It is important to not keep the pretzels and chocolate in the oven for too long, as the Hershey Kisses will melt!

  5. Remove the tray of pretzels from the oven. Place an M&M on each Hershey Kiss and press in gently.

  6. Chill the treats in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Pull out of the fridge 15 minutes before serving to cool.
